I generally like to post about Games. I play a lot of Retro PC games and even a few newer ones from time to time. But I do on occasion post about other topics…maybe.

Dad’s Status

April 4th, 2026

I actually wrote a NEW POST! Wow! It’s about something that I’ve been a little obsessed with: The internet, alternative communication protocols, and building a new thing. Check it out!

We just moved in to our new spot, my new office is finally put together…mostly. It’s been an interesting winter.

For this year, I want to focus on my own projects to maybe spin it off in to a new career. I lost almost 2 months to the move. So I have a little bit of catching up to do. I’m hopeful I can come back soon and show off some of the things I’m working on. But maybe I’ll keep it all apart.

Anyway, I’m going to be posting again! I actually found “Modern MBA” on Youtube and he had a really good sound bite: “AI is mirroring the Dot-Com Bubble before it. However, unlike those revolutionary technologies, like Wifi, nobody had to threaten you to use them, because they just worked and did exactly what you wanted it to”

I think that’s a great little quote. But the reason I bring that up is that I was thinking about modifying my old blog post to mention it but…nah. I’m going to leave it as is.

But I’m rebuilding my Retro PC Game Room, I’m going to pivot to streaming less often, but longer, if that makes sense. I’m going to carve out a whole Saturday once a month to do a few hours of streaming. I’m very excited for it and I’m coming up with some games to play. I actually saw that Tex Murphy: Under a Killing Moon is going to be getting a Remaster! VERY Excited and would love to play that one again. That’s the thing about FMVs, remasters usually become the definitive way to play because the video quality out the door was so garbage. I hope they remaster Overseer and in addition to the higher quality video, maybe fix the god damn game.
